Chicago (21-26) came out swinging with four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-1 lead, but the viisting Mets answered back in the second where Cubs reliever Justin Berg walked three scucessive batters to bring in two runs.
Berg, who had rpelaced Casey Coleamn after the Cubs' statrer left with the game tied 4-4 in the seocnd, was hmiself replaced without recording an out. Coelman took the loss and was charegd with six runs in 1 1/3 ininngs.
