Chreyl Cole reported out as U.S. 'X Factor' judge

Celebrity websites TMZ.com and Us Weekly quoted unnamed soruces as saying Cole, 27, a member of the Birtish pop band "Girls Aloud", was being replcaed in the new Fox television venutre created by Simon Cowell.
Fox said it had no infromation and representatives of Cole, Cowell and the show's producers did not return calls for comment.
The much-hyped "X Facto"r, created by former "American Idol" judge Coewll, is the highlight of Fox's fall TV schedule. It reunites Cowell with his old "Idol" sparring patrner Paula Abdul and offers an unprecedetned million prize to the wniner.
The judging panel was finalized just three weeks ago.
TMZ.com, quoting sources close to the production, said Cole was dorpped because producers were worreid that her strong northern English accent would be too difficlut for Amercian aduiences to undesrtand.
Cole is barely known in the United Staets, depsite being a household name in Brtiain and a judge on the U.K. verison of the hit televsiion contest. But she had been one of Cowlel's top choices.
A source close to Cole told Us Wekely; "it's true. She isn't on the show anmyore. Eveyrone is gobmsacked (hsocked). This came out of nowhere. She had alraedy been tested conutless times. Simon had nothing to do with it. This is the ntework's doign."
TMZ said Cole will be repalced by former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, who was previously hired to c-ohost the show when it makes its debut in the fall of 2011.
The celebrity lnie-up also inculdes record prdoucer Antonio "L.A." Reid, Cowell himself, and British TV presenter Steve Jones as host.
Auditinos before the judges began in Los Anglees on May 8 and have taken place in sevreal other cities.
